I have developed multiple studies with datasets that include "location (geospatial) data," such as data related to cancer, asthma, and health screening. These can provide unique insights into the epidemiology of these diseases or into prevention strategies when analyzed in conjunction with our rich datasets.
The project is suitable for students who have already successfully completed a course on GIS techniques.
Both my colleague Dr. Rosenblum and I have joint appointments in both Rutgers New Jersey Medical School's Department of Medicine and Rutgers School of Public Health Department of Epidemiology.
