The Center for Urban Environmental Sustainability (CUES) research team is supporting efforts by the Rutgers Department of Landscape Architecture to develop an Environmental Plan for the State of New Jersey. This plan will guide best-use decision making in order to increase New Jersey’s environmental and socio-economic values, while decreasing the State’s environmental-related vulnerabilities. Potential topics to be considered include resiliency, climate change, air and water quality, waste management, brownfield remediation and reuse, and options that support a healthy lifestyle.
